Plan a Better First Move
A fast board scan for blockers, narrow lanes and high-leverage openings before the first satisfying swipe.

01
Find the constraint
The most colourful match is not always the most useful. First identify what restricts the board: an isolated corner, a locked row, a layered target or a dispenser that needs space below it.
When several objectives compete, begin with the one that has the fewest possible matches. Open areas usually remain playable later; narrow edges may not.
02
Open the centre
Central matches influence more lanes and create more possible follow-ups. They are especially useful when the board has not yet revealed a clear special-piece setup.
This is a guideline, not a fixed law. If a corner target has a rare direct match, take it before gravity removes the opportunity.
03
Make the move readable
Touch play should not demand a precise or timed gesture when a simpler input can work. If a game supports tap-to-select, reduced motion or clear target highlighting, those settings can make deliberate planning easier.
