01
Build the meeting point
Choose a roomy part of the board and work toward it from both sides. A special piece is most valuable when it remains movable, so avoid trapping it against a corner or behind a blocker unless that position serves the objective.
02
Resist the first sparkle
Automatic cascades can consume a setup. Before making a nearby match, trace where pieces are likely to fall and whether the special piece will be triggered. Delaying a flashy move can preserve a stronger pairing on the next turn.
03
Record the lesson, not the result
The combo card asks for a one-line note: what moved the pieces together, and what nearly broke the plan. There is no public ranking. The reward is a reusable observation for the next board.
